Who we are

What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, site address or postcode, and the details you give us about your project. We collect it when you fill in our website contact form, send an enquiry through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, email us or call us.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and fee proposals, and design, seek approval for and build your project. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data or use it for mailing lists. Where your project needs it, we share relevant details with the consultants, surveyors, subcontractors and local planning authorities working on it. Enquiries from Facebook or Instagram forms are also handled by Meta under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Project records are kept for 6 years after the work ends, for legal and accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing tom@setsquarestudio.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
